Tyler purchased this E30 on impulse, after driving by it for sale.  Immediately after purchase, it was decided that this car would by Tyler and Andy's introduction into nonstop cross country "Cannonball" driving.  (Note, this is an example of the non vintage specialty cars we enjoy working on.)

Seeing as a reunion of original Cannonball competitors was taking place in under a month from purchase, we quickly repaired and serviced every subsystem on the car, then blasted off to NY in a 31 year old BMW.

The trip was a success, the BMW crossed the country nonstop at quick pace, and arrived in NY without issue.  After the reunion, and a quick trip to the venerable Red Ball garage in NYC, we turned around for a slightly slower drive home.  Seeing as the car had successfully completed it's intended purpose, it was sold shortly after as a very reliable vintage daily driver.
