We purchased this car from a local junkyard due to a recent interest in classic British Fords. The plan was to make a simple and low-buck commuter that could moonlight as a fun, weekend rally or autocross car.
After welding in new floors, and a full mechanical restoration, the Fiesta enjoyed a few rallycross races (in the Stock FWD class) and months of commuting before the stock engine gave out.
After contacting a local Fiesta enthusiast, we scored a sweet built Kent 1.6 Crossflow engine. Sporting an uprated head, dual sidedraft Webers, and other various performance modifications, the Fiesta has now reached it's goal as fun, inexpensive, and reliable, daily transportation.
