1973 Monte Carlo

 The original owner of this '73 Monte came to us looking for custom air-ride suspension, headers and full exhaust. Given the impeccable condition of the car, we were happy to oblige. The car was already outfitted with several rare options, including a factory moon roof, a 454 cid V8, posi-traction differential, and swivel bucket seats.  

Right off the bat, we noted that a bolt-in air-ride suspension kit did not exist for a '73 Monte, and most available air suspension components would need modification to meet our reliability standards. After the custom suspension was fabricated and installed, we built a custom full exhaust to allow the car to be driveable at either full high or low positions, with no exhaust rubbing. The air suspension features independent front and rear height adjustment, as well as all-corner simultaneous lowering.  

While the Monte is now driveable, we are in the process of attending to the ongoing, small upkeep projects required by every vintage car. After a little rust repair, moon roof repair, and a few other items, the car will soon be back cruising the mean streets of Tacoma.
