This 1970 Dodge Charger had been occasionally driven, mainly due to issues with the aftermarket disc brakes, and steering components. After a triage, it was also noted that it needed a center trunk floor. We also noted that the car wasn't looking well underhood, as the older restoration used many incorrect parts, and many OEM small parts were missing.
In addition to the reliability and safety repairs, the customer wanted a modern stereo (with Bluetooth and an auxiliary input). This was done by installing a Retrosound factory lookalike stereo. The stereo is backed by a small amplifier, which drives a stereo dash speaker and a pair of 6" x 9" speakers under the package tray. All of this was installed in a way such that the interior looks completely original.
After a complete brake, suspension, and steering system triage and repair, stereo upgrade, new trunk floor, transmission rebuild, and general interior/exterior overhaul, the 1970 Charger is returned to a reliable and comfortable driver.
